Government incentives (in the form of STCs) are still available for solar hot water. To take advantage of these, you must purchase an eligible system and have it installed by an accredited installer. Solar hot water must be installed by a licensed plumber who has a solar and heat pump hot water system endorsement issued by the Plumbing Industry Council.
