Peter Blessing
Founder and Managing Director
Has 35 years’ experience in the solar industry, establishing Solar Distributors Pty Ltd (Solar Blessing's predecessor) in 1980.
During 13 years living and working overseas for large Australian industry, Peter travelled through numerous countries researching solar technology before deciding there was a need to establish a solar company back home in Queensland. Peter installed one of the first commercial solar hot water systems and solar pool heating for the Queensland Government in the 1980s, the first government-rebated grid connect system on the Darling Downs in 2000, and has installed off-grid systems from Stradbroke Island to Texas.
Peter has been a fully CEC/BSCE accredited solar designer and installer since 1999. He specialises in solving energy problems for business and home owners and has a strong appreciation of the economic and environmental value of clean energy to his clients.

Accredited Designer Installer:
Tim Hourigan
General Manager
Experienced in the design of grid connect and stand alone systems for residential and commercial solar projects. Tim’s background in research and development for lithium ion batteries has given him extensive knowledge in batteries and energy storage. Tim is a fully CEC accredited designer for both on and off grid systems and has tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering and photonics and nanoscience.
